We partner with financial institutions, software developers, independent sales organizations, and agents to bring our solutions to market.

The Account Setup Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Account Setup team; managing the 1099 operations for the MES merchant portfolio. Supervising and coordinating the activities of staff and recommending measures to improve performance of the team.

Your Responsibilities will require you to:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the Account Setup team
  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the client's data and set up to ensure ongoing success
  • Mentoring and coaching team members along with managing and/or participating in special projects
  • Direct, facilitate and manage regular training of the staff
  • Oversee set up of high touch relationships
  • Oversee the 1099 process for our merchant portfolio
  • Make recommendations regarding portfolio modeling and setup
  • Implement and create regular reporting for the Account Setup team
  • Participate and/or assist in Bank / ISO / Card Brand audits
  • Collaborate on communications the Card Brands on data compromise issues
  • Analyzing reports for trends and reporting issues to the management team
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert as it relates to Account Setup and 1099 merchant reporting

Qualified Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within merchant acquiring
  • Previous Supervisor experience within the industry
  • Analytical, innovative, and creative thinking along with problem solving skills
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills, including verbal, written, phone, and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of rules related to 1099 reporting is required
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • High level of experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong Customer Service and Client Management skills
  • Accounting or Management degree a plus
  • Experience communicating with management teams at all levels
