Tell us about your journey at MerchantE.

I began working at MerchantE as a Program Manager. My role changed to being a part of the Product organization as a Product Performance Manager to now leading the Enterprise Services team. My journey here has been a constant change which has been nothing short of a positive experience. Change has brought about innovation, skillset development, and wonderful business opportunities. I look forward to the future opportunities that my continued journey at ME will bring.

How would you describe the work environment?

MerchantE has a collaborative work environment that promotes a productive atmosphere. The overall company culture encourages a good work life balance, positive thinking, inclusiveness, and open communication.

What excites you the most about the future at MerchantE?

ME is a part of a competitive market, and I am excited to be included in the competitiveness that MerchantE will continue to spark. It is fascinating to have the ability to work in partnership with like-minded individuals that will continue to come up with innovative ideas and cutting edge technology. I look forward to the challenges we will overcome and the fast-paced growth.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I love action movies, have a love for country music, and enjoy extremely spicy food.

Tell us about your journey at MerchantE.

So my journey began with a phone call to have a “causal dinner with friends” and the next thing you know....”I was hooked on ME & the vision of what the future had in store for the organization.” Coming on-board and meeting all of the amazing teammates that we have throughout was so very energizing & exciting. We were hiring over 100+ roles, preparing to move our office and then “boom!” .... the pandemic hit. Yet all of us here at ME “dug in” and did not miss a beat, while the world around us was in chaos; we came together as a united team and continued to work hard, strive for greatness each day and most importantly, supported each other through it all! I am honored and blessed to be a part of such an incredible organization made up of incredible people!

How would you describe the work environment?

Well, we had a dynamic shift in our work environment, as all organizations have gone through, due to the pandemic. While I am an “introvert” outside of work; I thrive in a work environment where I can see my teammates, feel the energy, collaborate, brainstorm and laugh in person, all while having fun! So we worked hard to “create a new normal” when it came to all of us being 100% remote AND taking on the roles of teachers, daycare providers, caregivers, spouse, worker and simply “being human”....24/7. So, the shift to Zoom, yoga pants daily, long hours, etc. took on a new look & feel. The work environment is fluid and flexible.

What excites you the most about the future at MerchantE?

Wow, great question! So much excites me about our future here at ME! Our amazing new facility, our being together (even in a hybrid/new way), our projected growth, our continued development of awesome products, our kick-ass (can I say “ass” here?) sales team that continues to kill it and above all else...being a part of this terrific organization.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

That I was and still am a “diehard Deadhead” and a “yogi”.

Lots of things make me happy! Yoga for sure makes me happy (and everyone else around me because I am way calmer lol), savoring the moments with family & friends, a good glass of wine, and my dog, Scooby.

Tell us about your journey at MerchantE.

My journey at ME began in February 2020. About 3 weeks into my new role, is when the pandemic began. It has indeed been an interesting time! In my role as Director, Customer Experience I was faced with the ultimate challenge of transitioning two of our major departments in Operations (Account Setup Group and Customer Care) from Spokane to Atlanta. To do this was a big undertaking but during an unprecedented pandemic was indeed monumental. Not only were we able to accomplish this task but to do it remotely was indeed remarkable! I could not have led this effort successfully without the support of my Ops team.

How would you describe the work environment?

I am asked this question often especially when interviewing candidates. I would describe the environment as “collaborative”. People are always chatting and strategizing on various ideas and topics to essentially add value and take the company to the next level.

What excites you the most about the future at MerchantE?

What excites me the most is the use of that collaborative effort and seeing the results. I am excited about the company, its strategic plan, and the future of ME.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I grew up playing the piano…mostly classical and gospel music.

I am spending time with my family and friends.

My journey has been interesting and challenging at the same time. I look forward to what lies ahead. My goal is to create an environment and space where we are able to provide our merchants with the best experience possible.
